After Al-Hilal lost 0-2 to MC Alger in a friendly on Wednesday, Karim Benzema ended the night in good spirits, arranging a shirt swap with Chareddine Boukholda.
According to L'Équipe, the 38-year-old, crowned Ballon d'Or in 2022, even asked for Boukholda’s shirt, which left the Franco-Algerian midfielder, 30, briefly taken aback. Boukholda came through at Monaco and featured for Lille’s reserves before moving abroad.

The exchange continued in the dressing room, Boukholda delivering his top to a still smiling Benzema.
Benzema joined Al-Hilal in February. He had fitness issues late last season, featuring in only 10 of 16 possible league matches.
He is under contract until June 2027.
