Four years after his arrival from Ajax, Kasper Dolberg is set to put an end to a middling spell at Nice as he closes in on a move to Anderlecht, according to RMC Sport this morning.
Reports of the Belgian offer initially emerged in local outlet Nice-Matin, who indicated that Les Aiglons were open to letting go of the forward in the wake of two underwhelming loan spells, at Sevilla and then Hoffenheim.
The Dane is set to cost the Brussels-based side up to €5m, with an agreement between the two clubs having been reached on Monday.
Dolberg was not able to replicate the form he showed in his first season on the French Riviera, when he arrived for €20m – in which he found the net 11 times in Ligue 1 – in successive seasons. This past season, he endured a barren spell in Andalusia before scoring two goals in all competitions in Germany.
