According to Nice-Matin, Monaco left wing-back Kassoum Ouattara will not play again this season after sustaining a knee ligament problem during the international break.

He had only just returned from a calf injury and was back in the Monaco squad in mid-March for the home game against Brest.

The former Amiens player suffered the setback in a friendly against Brentford Under-23s on 26 March, then consulted a specialist to assess his situation.

He is not expected to need surgery.

Head coach Sébastien Pocognoli is expected to announce the update on Friday, three April, at his pre-match press conference before Marseille on Sunday, five April at 20:45.
