Kauã Prates ‘to travel’ to Germany to complete Dortmund move

Sky Germany reports that Brazilian full-back Kauã Prates is travelling to Germany to complete a move to Borussia Dortmund.

Initial reports in January suggested the clubs had reached an agreement, with a fee of around €12 million expected to be paid to Cruzeiro.

Prates is set to sign with the Bundesliga side until 2031.

He will officially join in the summer and is expected to be at Tuesday’s Champions League tie with Atalanta.

The 17-year-old has made 16 senior appearances for Cruzeiro in all competitions, scoring once, and has represented Brazil at U17 level.
