Brazilian winger Kayky has joined Bahia subject to international clearance.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at our sister CFA club in Brazil's Serie A but the deal has now been made permanent.
Kayky joined City in April 2021 from Fluminense, helping our Elite Development Squad claim the Premier League 2 title the following season.
Featuring 13 times, he would contribute six goals and four assists in that successful campaign for the U23s.
He also made his senior debut for the Blues that campaign, coming on as a late substitute in our FA Cup third round 4-1 win over Swindon, before a further cameo against Norwich City in our 4-0 Premier League away triumph.
Loans spells at Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira and Bahia would follow across 2022/23, but the starlet would sustain an anterior cruciate ligament injury in July 2023 which led to a season on the sidelines.
He recovered ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, spending the first half of the season in the Eredivise with Sparta Rotterdam, featuring seven times in all competitions, before a switch to Bahia for the remainder of the term.
Everyone at City would like to wish Kayky the best of luck in the future.
