Premier League side Bournemouth could make a transfer move for Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa returned to Chelsea this summer, following a season long loan at Real Madrid, in the 2023/24 season.

However, as the Blues look to offload players before the Premier League transfer window closes on August 30, he is set to leave.

The Spanish international does feature in Chelsea’s Premier League plans and the Cherries need cover between the posts.

As per the latest update from The Athletic, Bournemouth and Chelsea have opened talks, with the potential of Kepa extending his contract beyond 2025 to seal a loan departure.

Despite his fall from first team prominence in recent years, Kepa remains the most expensive goal keeper in history from his €80m move from Athletic Club in 2018, but he needs a career revival.

His last international cap for Spain came in 2023 and he is hopeful of La Roja return if his club future is settled.
