Kerjota strikes at the death as Hearts climb to second | OneFootball

Hearts beat Dundee 2-1 at Tynecastle Park, climbing from fifth to second after Sabah Kerjota's stoppage time winner capped a late turnaround.

In the 17th minute Bradley Fink put Dundee ahead, finishing Imari Samuels' cut-back from the centre of the box.

Owen Goodman kept the visitors in front with sharp saves as Hearts pressed, notably tipping away efforts from Josh McPake and JJ Williams. The Jambos kept territory and momentum, forcing a stream of corners.

After the restart, Harry Milne's introduction down the left tilted the game, his service repeatedly asking questions, while Kerjota's arrival on the hour added thrust in the inside right channel.

A handball by Owen Bevan gave Hearts a penalty. VAR confirmed the spot kick, and Cláudio Braga converted (84.).

Zan Bešir was sent off for Dundee in the first minute of second half stoppage time. Kerjota then swept in the winner in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time after McPake's corner was kept alive.

Hearts registered 27 attempts and 14 corners, with 71.5% possession underscoring their pressure. Dundee made 43 clearances as they tried to hold on. McPake now has three league assists, second in the Scottish Premiership rankings.
