Kerolin was one of Brazil’s six different scorers during a 6-1 thrashing of Zambia in Cuiaba overnight.

The City winger was a late replacement for Gio Garbelini with the score already at 4-1 and wasted little time getting in on the action, sweeping home a whipped cross in the 91st minute.

Brazil will now face Canada on Sunday 19 April in another friendly to complete their schedule during this current international window.

Meanwhile, Risa Shimizu, currently on loan at Liverpool, played the full game and Yui Hasegawa and Aoba Fujino were late substitutes as Japan beat USA in a friendly at Lumen Field in Seattle.

Maika Hamano got the only goal of the game for the recently crowned Asian Cup champions just before the half hour mark as both sides rested several key figures.

Sam Coffey remained on the bench throughout for the USWNT, as did Ayaka Yamashita for Nadeshiko.

The two sides will play each other again this Saturday before those involved return to the CFA ahead of next weekend’s return of the Barclays Women’s Super League.

We’ll have roundups of every game involving City players throughout the ongoing international break on mancity.com and our official app.
