Kevyson is training on a separate schedule from Santos’ main group under Juan Pablo Vojvoda at CT Rei Pelé. According to Diario Do Peixe, with Souza sold, only Escobar and academy graduate Vinicius Lira are available at left-back, and Kevyson could be reintegrated if required while the club assesses his situation and his agents monitor the market.

He spent 2025 on loan at Sport, playing only nine times. He had returned for Santos last season after a left ACL injury and an earlier meniscus issue, then was loaned to Pernambuco for game time.

His contract, previously due to expire this year, has been extended to the end of 2027. In last year’s Paulistão he returned in a 3-1 win over São Paulo at Vila Belmiro on the first of February, later featuring against Noroeste and making several benches, including both CRB ties in the Copa do Brasil.

In the Brasileirão he appeared only away to Grêmio, and was an unused substitute against Vasco, Bahia, Atlético-MG, São Paulo, Red Bull Bragantino, Corinthians and Vitória. He also played friendlies with Coritiba and provided an assist for Hyan against RB Leipzig of Germany, before moving to Sport on loan.

Born in Leopoldina, Minas Gerais, in March 2004, he joined Santos in March 2022 from Athletico-PR with his contract nearing expiry, arriving as an Under-20 midfielder before converting to left-back.

His first-team debut came in a 0-0 draw with Blooming-BOL at Vila Belmiro on 29 June last year in the Sudamericana group stage. Since then he has made 21 senior appearances, 18 in 2023, one in the Sudamericana and 17 in the league, and three in the Paulista.
