Key Athletic Club pair to return for Barcelona clash | OneFootball

Athletic Club are set to welcome two important members of their attacking ranks back into the fold for this weekend’s showdown with Barcelona.

This comes amid confirmation that both Nico Williams and Oihan Sancet are expected to be back available for the fixture.

Winger Nico and frontman/attacking midfielder Sancet have been condemned to respective spells on the sidelines of late.

In the case of the former, he was struggling with a persistent pubalgia problem, whilst for the latter, a hamstring issue was to blame.

As confirmed by Diario Sport, however, early this week, both rejoined group training, seeing out the full session alongside the rest of Ernesto Valverde’s squad on Monday.

The duo are therefore expected to be fit and raring to go to face Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou this Saturday.

Nico’s brother Iñaki, on the other hand, remains a serious doubt whilst continuing to train away from his Athletic teammates.
