FC Barcelona take on Real Oviedo on Thursday in the midweek La Liga fixture, hoping to maintain their winning momentum.
The Blaugrana, however, go into the game without some key players in Gavi, Alejandro Balde, and Lamine Yamal, missing due to injury issues.
While Gavi is a long-term absentee, like captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Balde and Lamine are understood to be close to returning.
Indeed, according to AS, Balde is expected to receive his medical discharge for Sunday’s La Liga clash against Real Sociedad at Montjuic.
The La Masia graduate has missed the last three matches due to a thigh injury he picked up during training earlier this month.

Balde trained with the group for the second consecutive day today, but Hansi Flick already confirmed that a return for tomorrow’s game is ruled out.
All indications suggest that the young full-back, who has become a key player for the manager, will be available on Sunday against Real Sociedad.
Flick is also awaiting the recovery of Lamine Yamal, who has already been working on the pitch for a few days, although still on his own.
The 18-year-old sensation is out due to pubic discomfort but has resumed ball work in recent days, which is a step in the right direction.
In principle, and provided there are no setbacks, he is expected to play a few minutes on Sunday against Real Sociedad, with an eye on recovering his rhythm for next week’s match against PSG.
