A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has emerged as a serious doubt to feature in the club’s next outing.

This comes amid confirmation that Raphinha is struggling with a fitness problem.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action tomorrow evening, when they make the trip to San Sebastian for a league meeting with Real Sociedad.

The Blaugrana head into the matchup aware that a victory is something of a must, after seeing their advantage atop the table cut to just a solitary point by arch rivals Real Madrid earlier today.

As alluded to above, though, in efforts towards as much, Barca could yet be forced to make do without attacking standout Raphinha.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Saturday, Hansi Flick was asked for the latest on the fitness situation in his squad.

And the German tactician went on to confirm:

“Raphinha suffered from some issues as a result of a blow he received. We decided he should stay indoors, and we’ll see what happens tomorrow. We don’t know yet.”
