Key Barcelona star trains separately from squad ahead of Osasuna | OneFootball

A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona trained away from the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad on Friday.

That’s according to head coach Hansi Flick, who pointed towards Raphinha as the player in question.

Barcelona, of course, are primed to return to action tomorrow night, when they make the trip to El Sadar for a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

On Friday morning, the Blaugrana’s stars were in turn put through their latest preparatory session, to ensure their respective arrivals to the clash in the best possible state.

And, amid as much, it was decided that the aforementioned Raphinha would not train on the grass with the rest of his teammates.

Speaking in a press conference this afternoon, Hansi Flick explained:

“Raphinha didn’t train on the grass because I thought he should do a different exercise. Sometimes it’s good for some players not to train on the grass. We’ll assess him tomorrow, because we’ll do some training and play with the ball.”
