Khadim Dieng: his transfer to RFC Liège falls through

RFC Liège has announced that the transfer of Khadim Dieng will not be finalized. The medical tests for the 22-year-old Senegalese striker were not conclusive, forcing the club to withdraw from the deal.

Signed last Monday just before the transfer window closed, Dieng will be unable to play for Liège this season. The club wishes him a speedy recovery and hopes he quickly gets back to full fitness to reignite his career. For the young Senegalese player, this is another setback after FC Nantes declined to sign him in November 2023 due to a similar issue.
