Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia put PSG ahead on Wednesday in the Intercontinental Cup final in Al-Rayyan, Qatar.
According to L'Équipe, his goal came in the 38th minute and PSG led 1-0 at half-time.
Luis Enrique’s side had earlier thought Fabián Ruiz had opened the scoring in the 11th minute, but VAR ruled the ball had gone out for a corner.
Flamengo goalkeeper Agustin Rossi had already been at fault in the build-up to that disallowed goal.
Soon after Lee Kang-in suffered a left thigh injury, substitute Senny Mayulu sent Désiré Doué into space.
Doué’s low cross was mishandled by Rossi, leaving Kvaratskhelia to turn in from close range.
