Kicker in Germany are reporting that Luis Enrique has been watching Michael Olise’s performances at the World Cup and wants PSG to sign him because of the understanding he has with international teammates (and current PSG stars) Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele.
It’s unlikely that the PSG coach has learned much about Olise in France’s two games that he didn’t know already. We can all see that the winger is one of the best players in the world.
In any case, there is just no sum of money that will make Bayern Munich sell Olise this summer. Real Madrid have tried their best, it’s just not happening. They will do all they can to get him to sign a new contract, and if he refuses that it will still be another year or so before they feel under pressure to sell.
Liverpool are pushing hard for Yan Diomande, but RB Leipzig are rebuffing their advances in the hope that PSG will get involved in the bidding war and jack the numbers up even higher.
Khephren Thuram has been linked with PSG a few times over the years but nothing has come of it. The links are back this week – but we maintain it’s hard to see a deal being done without a sale in midfield.
