Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was decisive in Everton’s come-from-behind win over Fulham at Craven Cottage. The midfielder had a hand in both goals as the Blues came back from a goal down to win the contest.

Dewsbury-Hall, signed from Chelsea this summer, has had a fantastic start to life as an Everton player and has fallen in love with the club. He hopes to impress England manager Thomas Tuchel, who was in attendance at Craven Cottage, ahead of the World Cup this summer.

“If I keep scoring and helping the team, then that's all I can do,” Dewsbury-Hall said after the game.

“And hopefully, then people in that position can keep taking a look and think maybe there's a space.

“I know what I can offer [England]. I've always said the better I do for my club, it gives me a better chance of playing internationally.

“Hopefully, he [Tuchel] can keep going to more games if I keep scoring, because he came to Old Trafford as well and I scored, so maybe (he should) come to all of them!”

The Everton number 22 heaped praise on the club’s fantastic away support and how life on Merseyside has exceeded his expectations.

“I love it,” he continued. “It's probably exceeded my expectations, to be honest. [The fans have] been unreal since the day I got here and it's just nice when you can repay them with that. To be an Everton fan and to go away this year must be exciting because you know it's going to be a game where we've got a good chance of winning.

“So, credit to the fans, they do help us. Even today when we were losing, you could hear them shouting and screaming, so it's always nice when you can turn that into the celebrations.”

The midfielder also had a hand in Tyrique George’s signing. The youngster was signed on loan from Chelsea on Deadline Day six months after Dewsbury-Hall made the trip from London to Merseyside.

Discussing George’s potential and his conversations with David Moyes regarding the player, he added, “I’m excited by it, Tyrique is a really, really good player. He’s an exciting young player with a great attitude.

“You can see even today coming on, he looks comfortable. He doesn’t look nervous.

“He wants to show what he’s about, he’s got that, not arrogance, but good confidence. If he settles in quickly, he will be a big, big addition to this team.

“I had a little chat with the gaffer (David Moyes) and told him what my opinion was. I didn’t really speak to Ty because it’s up to him what he wants to do, but I’m glad that he chose us. Obviously, I’ve been speaking to him a lot since he’s been here about what happens here, what goes on, how we do things.

“He’s taken to it straight away, to be fair, from day one in training. So hopefully he’ll get up to speed quick and you’ll see some goals and assists."
