The Kings League will return to France in 2026 with a new team and a revamped transfer system, kicking off on Sunday 22 March. According to L'Équipe, the French edition will run under the title Kings League Crédit Agricole after a fresh partnership.

Founder Gerard Piqué, whose seven-a-side competition launched in late 2022, says they want this second season to be the most spectacular staged in France.

Chief executive Djamel Agaoua says France is a key market and that the league’s channels exceed 30 million subscribers, with presidents adding billions more, reaching a young, ultra connected audience across several countries.

After using a general draft last year, clubs will have greater freedom in 2026. Each president can recruit players in France and internationally to build the most competitive squad, while teams may still sign up to three 'Star Players'.

Unit3d, Karasu, Gear 7, FC Silmi, Panam All Starz, Wolf Pack and 360 Nation are confirmed, with an 8e équipe mystère to be unveiled. Presidents include Squeezie, Kameto, Michou, Domingo, Pfut and Adil Rami, while 360 Nation features Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jules Koundé, Mike Maignan, Manu Koné and Bryan Mbeumo.

Streamer AmineMaTue, a semi-finalist last season with Foot2Rue, will not take part, opting to focus on developing the league in France.

The eight clubs will contest nine matchdays using special cards as they try to succeed champions Panam All Starz. All matches will be staged at the Kings League Arena de Villepinte and shown live on the league’s digital platforms.
