Klopp hints at Musiala start for Germany against Netherlands | OneFootball

Germany coach Jürgen Klopp has said “there’s no reason” to talk to Jamal Musiala about the two collapses the 23-year-old Bayern Munich star experienced on the pitch during pre-season.

After explaining that the short periods of absence were related to a neurological condition, Musiala had his medication adjusted and has since had no problems on the pitch, featuring in each of Bayern’s last four games.

Coming off a goal, an assist and 90 minutes in Bayern’s 7-0 win over 1. FC Union Berlin, Musiala now appears in line to start for Germany in Jürgen Klopp’s debut as head coach against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday.

“There’s no reason to talk to Jamal about it or think about it. Everything has been sorted, everything has been done,” Klopp told reporters on Wednesday.

“What we need is normality, and what the guy needs is normality. That’s what we have here. He’s training completely normally,” Klopp added, seemingly hinting at a start for Musiala on Thursday.
