Jürgen Klopp has omitted SV Elversberg’s Felix Keidel from Germany’s matchday squad for Thursday’s UEFA Nations League meeting with Serbia.
According to BuLi News, only 23 players can be named. Two of the 25 call-ups had to sit out, with the other omission being Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck.

Schlotterbeck left the national team camp after sustaining an injury in training on Wednesday.
Keidel will get another chance to make his debut when Germany face Greece on Sunday.
Similarly, Hoffenheim’s Bambasé Conté was omitted against the Netherlands last week, then started the subsequent 0-1 defeat to Greece.
