The Eintracht quartet have been named in the preliminary Germany U21 squad for the European Championship in Slovakia.
Four Eintracht Frankfurt players are set to be involved when Germany U21s begin their preparations for the 2025 UEFA European U21 Championship this summer. Ansgar Knauff, Nathaniel Brown, Nnamdi Collins and Elias Baum – who is on loan at SV Elversberg for the rest of the 2024/25 season – have all been called up by head coach Antonio Di Salvo.
Quartet hoping to shine
Knauff, who appeared in all ten of Germany’s qualifying games, has won 24 caps for Germany at U21 level, with Brown currently on nine appearances and Collins on four. Baum, who is hoping to help Elversberg overcome 1. FC Heidenheim in the Bundesliga promotion/relegation play-off later this month, has been named in the U21 squad for the first time.
The European U21 Championship is being held in Slovakia between 11 and 28 June, with Germany facing the Czech Republic, England and Slovenia in Group B.
