Knockout time: Corinthians face quarter-final rivals in Women’s Copinha

The São Paulo Football Federation (FPF) announced this Thursday (11) the schedule for the quarterfinals of the 2025 Women's Copinha. The knockout stage will be played in a single match, and in case of a draw, the decision for the spot will be made by penalties.

The matchups were determined based on the overall standings, pitting the third place (Internacional) against the sixth (Corinthians). The match between the teams is scheduled for Saturday (13), at 6 PM (Brasília time), at CERET, in São Paulo.

Opponent of Corinthians in the quarterfinals, Internacional is the leader of Group C. The team from Rio Grande do Sul scored seven points in the first phase, after two wins and a draw in three games, with nine goals scored and two conceded.

In the first phase, Corinthians played their three matches at CERET. The Brabinhas started the campaign by defeating Criciúma 4-2, then drew 2-2 with Flamengo in a very balanced match, and closed the campaign with a 7-1 victory over Aliança-GO.

With the same points as the leader, Timão finished the group stage in second place, as Flamengo had a better goal difference. The semifinals are scheduled for December 16 and 17, and the final will be held on the 20th at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu Stadium.
