According to Football Italia, Atalanta defender Sead Kolasinac is reportedly ready to start for Bosnia and Herzegovina against Italy in Tuesday’s World Cup play-off.

The play-off final takes place at Stadion Bilino Polje in Zenica on Tuesday 31 March, kick-off 19.45 UK time.

Bosnia and Herzegovina drew 1-1 with Wales in Cardiff on Thursday, then advanced on penalties after extra time.

Kolasinac limped off around the hour in Cardiff, which put his involvement in doubt, but today’s training indicated he has recovered.

That means coach Sergej Barbarez will have a full squad available for Italy.

Kolasinac joined Atalanta from Olympique Marseille in 2023 and is among several Bosnia internationals with Serie A connections, including Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic and former Fiorentina striker Edin Dzeko.
