Roma are at risk of playing the derby without Manu Koné.

According to Sky Sport, the French midfielder pulled out with a muscle injury during the final training session on the eve of the derby.

His presence will be in doubt until the very end. This would be the third time the 2001-born midfielder has been sidelined this season, having just been called up to Didier Deschamps’s France national team for the World Cup.

This season, he had already been sidelined in February (thigh injury) and March (hamstring injury). His latest injury meant he missed the France squad for the March friendlies.

If Koné really doesn’t make it, Pisilli is warming up. The Roman midfielder, competing with Soulé for a spot in the attacking midfield, would play in his natural position, alongside Cristante. Up front, behind Malen, would be the Argentine duo of Soulé and Dybala.
