Kostons' late header earns Zwolle a point at Het Kasteel

Sparta Rotterdam drew 2-2 with PEC Zwolle at Het Kasteel on Friday as Sparta dropped to 12th in the Eredivisie and Zwolle climbed to 13th.

In the 21st minute, Ibrahim Cissoko bent a low shot from outside the box after Dylan Mbayo led a break. Milan Zonneveld levelled with a glancing header (24.), meeting Julian Baas's cross from a corner.

After the restart, substitute Isaac Babadi finished from the centre after Zonneveld's lay-off (69.). Koen Kostons then nodded in Tobias Sommer's free-kick delivery (80.) to rescue the visitors.

Jasper Schendelaar made six saves as Zwolle resisted long spells of pressure. Sparta produced 21 attempts and forced 15 corners. Mbayo also struck the bar after a swift counter early in the second half.

Mbayo's assist takes him to three for the season, second in the Eredivisie.
