Charalampos Kostoulas has been passed fit for a possible UEFA Nations League meeting with Bart Verbruggen, but his former Albion colleague Jan Paul van Hecke is ruled out.
According to TheArgus.co.uk, the Albion striker required stitches after Greece’s win in Serbia, then stayed on the bench for the 1-0 victory in Germany. He is said to be fully fit, though he could start among the substitutes given the attacking depth.
Greece now host Holland, who have four points so far. Verbruggen is the clear first-choice and started both home matches in this window.
The Spurs defender has been a regular, but he will miss the Thessaloniki game with a foot injury and did not travel. Head coach Xavi Hernandez said he took a knock against Serbia, tried to continue, then training confirmed the pain was very intense.
He lamented the setback, noting the squad still numbers 23 with several defenders available, and said Greece possess significant quality, especially in attack.
