A summer transfer window revealed by FIFA agent Federico Pastorello confirms that Roma were among the clubs eyeing Nikola Krstović.
The Serbian striker later left Lecce for Atalanta in a deal worth approximately €25 million.
Interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb, Pastorello confirmed the Roma management’s concrete interest.
Yes, it’s true, the Giallorossi were interested, and Napoli had also made inquiries,” said Pastorello.
The agent explained how the final choice fell on the Bergamo club, emphasizing a factor that often proves decisive in negotiations: the buying club’s conviction.
Krstović was convinced by Atalanta’s insistence on signing him: “The feeling I had with Atalanta was that they were more convinced than the others. There were several clubs interested in the player, but in the end, you suggest to the player what seems like the best solution.”
