PSG’s front three Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé ran a 3-0 win over Nantes, creating or finishing all three, six days before hosting Bayern Munich. It came three days after a 1-2 loss to Lyon.
According to L'Équipe, Luis Enrique had warned of a very difficult night, yet a rotated side, with Warren Zaïre-Emery at left-back, had far too much. The win restored a 4 point cushion over Lens with five league games left, Marquinhos urging focus and noting how fast things can change.
Enrique later called it almost perfect, with no injuries, minutes for squad players and time for returning Fabian Ruiz. The attack looked as fluent as at any point this season.
Kvaratskhelia, 25, struck a brace, including a sublime solo effort, and now has 16 goals this season. Brilliant in Europe since arriving in January 2025, he is in one of his strongest Paris spells. In this form he could trouble Josip Stanisic next week.
Doué, 20, had frustrated in 2026 despite a standout at Monaco on 17 February, a 3-2 play-off first leg. Here he rifled in the second with a fierce right-footed cross-shot and showed cleaner decisions and slick combinations with Dembélé. Trim the occasional flourish and his level could climb.
Dembélé, 28, the Ballon d'Or, looks beyond recent fitness issues. His movement and passing repeatedly animated PSG, and with sharper finishing he might have ended with multiple assists. He supplied one for Kvaratskhelia and seems close to last spring’s heights.
