Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is stalling on signing a new contract at Napoli amid interest from Europe’s top clubs.
Napoli have submitted a new contract proposal to the winger as the Italian side look to secure Kvaratskhelia’s long-term future. However, the Georgian has failed to provide Napoli with an answer and several sides are monitoring his situation.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain are attentive to the ongoing discussions in Naples. PSG placed Kvaratskhelia on their shortlist of potential transfer targets last summer and remain interested in a deal to sign he 23-year-old.
A number of Premier League clubs have also tracked the player’s progress in Italy, including Manchester City and Manchester United.
Kvaratskhelia signed for Napoli from Dinamo Batumi in 2022 and inspired the club to a drought-breaking Serie A title in his debut campaign.
He led the league for assists and was named the division’s Most Valuable Player in 2022/23. Since signing for Napoli, he has recorded 59 goals and assists in 107 appearances across all competitions.
Kvaratskhelia’s current contract with Antonio Conte’s side expires in 2027.
