Kylian Mbappé announces big ambition with Real Madrid | OneFootball

On an individual level, it was a mixed season for Kylian Mbappé (26). It was a slow start to life at Real Madrid and he came in for plenty of criticism in his opening weeks and months at the club. However, he finished the season as the top scorer in Europe’s top five leagues. For Real Madrid, however, it was unequivocally a poor season and one that cost Carlo Ancelotti his job.

Mbappé moved to Real Madrid to win major titles and he finishes his first campaign with the La Liga giants without any. In fact, it is his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, who won the most-coveted trophy, the UEFA Champions League, without the France captain. “It doesn’t affect me,” insisted the Real Madrid forward on Saturday.

However, he is determined to ensure that his second year does not resemble his first, at least in terms of titles. In a press conference, he revealed an ambitious objective for next season. “It is up to me to work and progress. For next year, why not win all of the major titles?” he said.
