Kylian Mbappé struck a second time against Sweden in the World Cup round of 32, bending another effort past Jacob Widell Zetterström with France already two goals up.

The France and Real Madrid forward, 27, recorded his third brace of the 2026 tournament on Tuesday.

His first arrived on 45 minutes, a right-footed curler after Ousmane Dembélé’s pass that beat Zetterström just before the interval.

Set up by Michael Olise, he later shot from a similar area and again picked out the far corner.

The France captain’s clinical finishing once more underlined his command of this competition.
