Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has missed the most ‘big chances’ in La Liga across the season to date.

That’s according to StatMuse, who have provided a breakdown of the numbers at present.

Mbappé, for his part, has of course been in scintillating form in 2025/26, leading the goalscoring charts in Spain’s top-flight with 13 goals to his name.

The Frenchman, though, has also missed seven big chances, more than any other player.

Next on the list comes a member of the attacking ranks at 2nd-placed Barcelona, in the form of Ferran Torres.

Alongside his five goals scored, the former Manchester City man has also fluffed his lines to the tune of six big chances.

Three players sit alongside Ferran with six such chances missed, namely Atlético Madrid’s Julián Alvarez, Levante standout Karl Etta Eyong, and Espanyol Javi Puado.

Amongst those to have missed five big opportunities in front of goal, meanwhile, are Robert Lewandowski, Vinícius Jr, and Arnaut Danjuma.
