According to a report from Romain Molina, Kylian Mbappé (25) no longer wants to play for France in the current situation he faces. After being excluded from two consecutive Les Bleus squads by Didier Deschamps, the France captain appears to have fallen out with the French head coach.
In a recent press conference as he announced his squad for the upcoming international break, Deschamps explained his decision to leave the 25-year-old out of his squad. The France boss revealed Mbappé wanted to be called up to the squad set to arrive at Clairefontaine on Monday, but Molina understands on the contrary, that he refused to join up with his national teammates.
As things stand, it appears the Real Madrid forward will not play under Deschamps until something gives, with their relationship in a difficult situation. The former Monaco forward’s entourage have taken a dislike to the Les Bleus boss amid the fractious relationship between the forward and the head coach.
Mbappé and his agent, who is also his mother, Fayza Lamari feel there is a plot among the French press and that people are angry with them. This has led to a lack of love between the Frenchman and his home nation. As a result, an “us against the world” stance has been adopted by the player and his agent amid criticism in the press and a difficult relationship with the World Cup winning coach.
