Kylian Mbappé responds to Real Madrid’s Michael Olise links | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this week spoken out on the speculation linking Bayern Munich winger and fellow countryman Michael Olise with a move to Spain’s capital.

The early weeks of this past summer’s transfer window of course saw the name of attacker Olise emerge as an altogether prominent one at Real Madrid.

This came after widespread reports surfaced across the continent, confirming interest on the part of Los Blancos in the signature of the former Crystal Palace man.

In the end, Olise stayed put in Munich, with those in the Bernabéu boardroom having instead opted to bring in Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig.

Speaking during an interview with German outlet BILD (as cited by Fabrizio Romano) this week, the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé was in turn drawn on the prospect of joining forces with his compatriot at club level.

The prolific frontman, though, remained respectful with his response, assuring:

“Olise and Real Madrid? I saw the links but I think it would be disrespectful to advise a player to leave. That would be unfair to Bayern. Especially since Bayern are a great club where Michael can achieve a lot. Of course, every club in the world would love to have Michael Olise. He’s an outstanding player.”
