Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Keylor Navas were all absent from first-team training on the eve of their match against OGC Nice.
Mbappé, who was at the UNFP awards ceremony on Monday night and won the award for Player of the Year, has discomfort in his left hamstring, according to a medical report, released by PSG. The France captain will therefore not compete in today’s session, ahead of tomorrow’s game against Nice at the Allianz Riviera.
Navas, who will leave the club at the end of the season, is sick and also missed training, as did Dembélé, who has suffered a blow to his left thigh. He therefore did gym work, rather than training with the group. Lucas Hernandez, who has undergone surgery on his ACL injury; Presnel Kimpembe, who continues to recover from an ankle injury that has kept him out for over a year; and Sergio Rico, recovering from his near-fatal horse-riding accident, are all also out of the match against Le Gym.
