Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has revealed his take that Benfica’s Gianluca Prestianni should not step foot inside the Santiago Bernabéu next week.
This of course comes after the young Argentine was at the heart of a racism storm on Tuesday night.
Real Madrid made the trip to Lisbon yesterday evening, to lock horns with Portuguese heavyweights Benfica in the Champions League.
When all was said and done, Los Blancos emerged with an important 1-0 victory, to take back to Spain for next week’s return leg.
As alluded to above, though, an otherwise entertaining fixture was marred by awful scenes during the 2nd-half.
After the aforementioned Gianluca Prestianni was spotted covering his mouth with his jersey, Vinícius Jr. made a beeline for the referee to highlight racially-motivated abuse on the part of the winger.
Calls, in turn, have since spread far and wide for Prestianni to be slapped with a ban on the part of UEFA.
And as alluded to above, one individual adamant that the 20-year-old should not be allowed to feature in any capacity in Madrid next week is Kylian Mbappé.
Speaking to the media on the back of his side’s hard-fought triumph at the Estádio da Luz, frontman Mbappé explained:
“I believe Gianluca Prestianni shouldn’t come to the Bernabéu, the best stadium in the world. He doesn’t deserve it, he shouldn’t play.”
