“I believe in God. God has a plan for everyone. I think there are no coincidences in everything that happens,” he said as quoted by SPORT.

This insight into Mbappe’s faith is somewhat unexpected, given that the player has primarily been known for his advocacy for equality and solidarity.

Until now, his public persona has not included much discussion about spirituality or religion. The recent interviews have revealed a different dimension of the player, one that underscores his personal gratitude and perspective on his career and life journey.

“I am privileged to have a gift from birth. Everything that has happened to me has been a gift from God,” he added.
