La Banda de Trelew to back River Plate at the Monumental

According to SuperDepor.com, La Banda de Trelew have set off for Ciudad de Buenos Aires to support River Plate against Tigre at the Monumental on Saturday, in the fourth round of the Apertura 2026 in the Liga Profesional de Fútbol.

The supporters spent three months organising activities to help 20 families, including their children, wives and husbands, make the trip.

The contingent is led by Sergio Ricardo Bahamondes. He has been part of River fan groups for 25 years, and four years ago helped form this independent supporters’ group.

The party left from Plaza "Alfredo García" for the journey to Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

Those travelling plan to lend their backing from the Monumental stands.
