Villarreal’s redevelopment beside the Estadio de la Cerámica has surged in the past month, catching the eye of supporters passing the narrow Tribuna street. A striking new structure is reshaping the area around the ground.
The club said the works will not pause in the coming months and will continue during next season. The project is divided into phases and the expectation is that it will run through 2026.
The scheme centres on a new facade facing the Plaza Font de Morà and its surroundings by the Tribuna, on Calle Blasco Ibáñez. A new building, linked to the stadium by a walkway, will create extra space and fresh uses for this zone.
In recent weeks the main facade has gone up, the upper floor is taking its definitive shape and the floor and beams of the structure are now visible.
Supporters regularly stop to view the site and ask what is planned and when it will be complete. For now, progress is rapid and activity will continue into next season.
