As already reported on Friday, Youssef Lekhedim ‘Yusi’ is on his way to Deportivo Alaves, having agreed a four-year contract with the club.

Fellow youngster Victor Munoz is also expected to move on soon, with another La Liga club leading the race for his signing.

Osasuna frontrunners to sign Victor Munoz

Indeed, according to MARCA, Osasuna have taken the lead in the race to sign Victor Munoz from Real Madrid this summer.

The Catalan player, developed at La Fabrica, was a regular starter under Raul Gonzalez for Castilla this past season.

With 11 goals and 7 assists in the reserve team, the 21-year-old has attracted interest from several La Liga sides, including Mallorca and Rayo Vallecano.

However, Osasuna have moved faster than their rivals in recent hours and are now in advanced talks to bring the player to El Sadar.

As per the report, Osasuna are expected to shell out a fee of €5.5-6 million in exchange for 50% of the winger’s rights, with Real Madrid retaining the remaining 50%.

The 21-year-old attacker is currently with the Real Madrid first-team squad in the USA, taking part in the FIFA Club World Cup.

But once the team returns from the tournament, the youngster is expected to finalise his move to Osasuna.

Munoz and Yusi are not the only Castilla players likely to leave, with the likes of Chema Andres, Jacobo Ramon, and Fran Gonzalez also attracting strong interest from clubs in La Liga.
