La Liga Profesional calls off Independiente v Platense clash

Aprevide determined the suspension of the match between Rojo and Calamar for the Torneo Clausura, following the serious incidents against Universidad de Chile for the Copa Sudamericana.

The match between Independiente and Platense was suspended. The Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sports (Aprevide) ordered the suspension and rescheduling of the match, which was to be played on Sunday for the 6th date of Zone B of the Torneo Clausura, due to the serious incidents on Wednesday at the Libertadores de América-Ricardo Bochini. Thus, the match will not be played, despite the fact that the Justice initially left open the possibility of it being played without an audience in Avellaneda or in another stadium.
