La Liga Profesional suspends Independiente v Platense clash

Aprevide determined the suspension of the Red's match against Calamar for the Clausura Tournament, after the very serious incidents against Universidad de Chile for the Copa Sudamericana.

The match between Independiente and Platense was suspended. The Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sports (Aprevide) ordered the suspension and rescheduling of the match, which was to be played on Sunday for the 6th date of Zone B of the Clausura Tournament, due to the very serious incidents on Wednesday at Libertadores de América-Ricardo Bochini. In this way, the match will not be played, despite the fact that the Justice had initially left the door open for it to be played without an audience in Avellaneda or in another stadium.
