La Liga reports insults at San Mamés against Spain team and Simeone | OneFootball

La Liga has reported insulting chants directed at Spain’s national team and at Simeone during Athletic’s Primera División meeting with Atlético Madrid at San Mamés.

According to El Correo, league delegates said the chants came from home fans in sectors 105 to 110 of the Tribuna Norte Baja, inside the Grada Popular de Animación, beside banners reading 'Íñigo Cabacas' and 'Herri Harmaila'.

The first incident came in minute 21, when a chant insulting Spain and the national team was heard.

In minute 85, with the game already going Athletic’s way, supporters sang an insulting refrain aimed at Simeone.

The same line was repeated in minute 87. The league noted the behaviour was confined to that section, and that elsewhere spectators behaved appropriately.
