In a recent update from ARA, it has been confirmed that Barcelona will not return to Montjuic for the upcoming season.
This is because the club is now on course to reopen the iconic Spotify Camp Nou, with the first official construction permit expected to be granted in September.
The news comes after internal confirmation arrived at the end of July that Barça would no longer play matches at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
Although the return to Camp Nou has not yet been formally announced, the club is confident that the final green light is just weeks away.
The first occupancy permit, which will allow them to begin hosting matches, is expected to arrive in early September.
According to the report, two separate delegations, one from La Liga and one from UEFA, are set to inspect the stadium in August.

These visits are crucial, as the governing bodies must approve safety and infrastructure standards before reopening can proceed.
Additionally, the European Club Association (ECA) will carry out a final inspection in the first week of September.
If their findings are positive, the official announcement of Camp Nou’s reopening is scheduled for September 14, ahead of Barcelona’s match against Valencia.
The return, however, will be gradual. Due to uneven progress in different sections of the stadium, only the Grandstand and South Goal areas will be accessible at first. This will allow for a crowd of around 27,000 fans.
If the ECA’s inspection goes well, the club hopes to open the Lateral section too, pushing capacity up to 45,000.
The Gol Nord, where work is most behind, is expected to be ready by October. Once that section is completed and approved, Camp Nou will be able to host up to 62,000 spectators.
