Denis Bouanga and Son Heung-Min netted all three goals for LAFC against Saint Louis on the night of Saturday, September 27, 2025. Together, they have scored the last 17 goals for the club in regular season play—an achievement never before seen in MLS history.

The partnership between the Gabonese international and the South Korean star has set a brand-new record in MLS. Never before in the North American league’s history have two players from the same team monopolized their club’s scoring over such a stretch of matches. This run, which began on August 23 against Dallas, spans six rounds of league play. It surpasses the previous record held by Nashville SC’s Mukhtar–Surridge duo, who combined for 15 consecutive goals earlier this season. Los Angeles FC thus becomes the first MLS side to see two players rack up so many goals in a row without interruption.Since arriving from Tottenham in August, Son Heung-Min has quickly found his footing with the California squad. In eight appearances, the former Spurs captain has scored eight goals and provided three assists. Meanwhile, Denis Bouanga continues his impressive rise. The Gabonese international has found the net nine times during this stretch, including two hat-tricks.
