Los Angeles FC are fighting for top spot in the Western Conference, but things got off to a poor start on Saturday.
On paper, facing bottom side San Jose should be a walk in the park for the hosts. But San Jose Earthquakes got off to the start of their dreams after only seven minutes.
The visitors caught the host defence off guard, and Jackson Yueill remained calm enough in the box to slip the opener past Hugo Lloris.
The goal arrived before the 10 minute mark and it surely stunned LAFC.
With plenty of time to go, will the giants turn it around and beat LA Galaxy to first? Time will tell.
