LaLiga has reported incidents from the 22nd round, highlighting a stoppage in the Basque derby and abusive chanting in other fixtures.
According to AS, the governing body set out the events in its latest report on violent incidents.
The Athletic v Real Sociedad match was interrupted after paper and aluminium balls were thrown, one striking a player. The incident occurred in the 57th minute and play was halted for one minute after the referee activated the object throwing protocol. No physical harm was reported.
The document also notes the chant “Puta España, puta selección” and insults directed at the referee during Osasuna v Villarreal.
In a separate match, the referee in Levante v Atlético de Madrid was targeted with the shout “burro, burro” on three occasions.
Through its LALIGAVS platform, LaLiga gathers reports, suggestions and requests from supporters to combat violence in stadiums, and has long called for greater powers to address the issue.
