Barcelona made it three wins in three games in La Liga 2024/25 as they defeated Rayo Vallecano 2-1 last night away at Estadio de Vallecas.

Having failed to win in their previous three visits to the stadium before last night, Hansi Flick’s Barça got the job done as they came back from a goal down to walk away with three points.

The performance on the night, especially in the first period, was not at the level expected, but in the end, the Catalans got the job done at a venue that has been difficult for them in recent seasons.

Lamine Yamal hits out at critic

Despite the crucial win, there were a few fans who were not entirely pleased with the performance of the Barcelona team last night.

One such ‘critic’ took to TikTok to bash the team’s performance as he went on to give horrible ratings to the players after the game against Vallecano.

Taking exception to what was being said, Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal commented on the video, telling the user to delete his account.

“Delete the account better,” commented Yamal on the video, along with three laughing emojis.

Fine start to the season

Having enjoyed a terrific run at the UEFA Euro 2024, Lamine Yamal has made a brilliant start to the 2024/25 season under Hansi Flick.

Already an undisputed starter despite being only 17 years old, the La Masia gem has already registered a goal and two assists from three La Liga matches, standing out as one of Barcelona’s best players in the early phase of the season.
