Leeds are assessing attacking reinforcements, with Bodo/Glimt’s Jens Petter Hauge on their shortlist amid Premier League interest.
Daniel Farke’s side need greater output from their forwards. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored three in his last three against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, while Lukas Nmecha netted three in his previous four before missing the 3-3 draw with Liverpool through injury.
TEAMtalk claims the Bodo/Glimt No 10 is willing to leave in January with eyes on the Premier League, and that Leeds are among the clubs monitoring him. Crystal Palace, Brentford, Brighton and Everton are also credited with interest in the 26-year-old.
Bodo/Glimt paid €5m (£4.4m) to re-sign Hauge from Eintracht Frankfurt, and he has started this season with four goals and four assists in nine appearances.
Squawka shows he has recorded 23 successful take-ons in the UEFA Champions League this term, two more than Lamine Yamal and the most of any player in the competition.
With contributions close to one per game, he appears to translate that dribbling into end product. If the 49ers can push a deal over the line, it would be an exciting addition.
