Lamine Yamal has responded to Mariano Rajoy’s remark about France’s squad, saying football is about integration.
According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, he said both Spain and France are good examples of that.

The former Spanish prime minister said there were few players from France in the French national team.
Yamal added that there is a very important match tomorrow and there is no room for such discussion. He also said there is no place in football to talk about it.
His comments kept the focus on the game rather than nationality debates.
